The Context
After shutting down Grownomic AI in January 2026, I started Adaptive Gradients to focus on what I had been doing across every role for the past decade: helping teams take AI from idea to production. The difference now is that I do it as an independent consultant, bringing the full range of my experience to each engagement.
What I Do
I help organizations scope the right AI use cases, design solution architecture, build LLM applications and internal tools, and establish the evaluation and MLOps practices that keep systems improving over time. I combine hands-on engineering with strategic consulting because I have learned that the two are inseparable. Strategy without implementation is a slide deck. Implementation without strategy is a science project.
Most organizations do not have an AI problem. They have a scoping problem, an evaluation problem, or a deployment problem.
My work spans responsible AI governance, agentic workflows, privacy-preserving ML, and classical ML, drawing on a decade of experience across startups, public companies, and research labs.
